Can you tell us a bit about your background? Where do you work? What’s your role? And how long have you been in the Industry?

I'm currently working at GigaSpaces, as a VP of Customer Success and Delivery. GigaSpaces is an in-memory data grid platform leading the Digital Integration Hub space. I have been a Global Support and Customer Success leader for the past 15 years. Driving a blend of critical situation management and field delivery from POC, through deployment, enablement, and the go-live of mission-critical platforms. Before GigaSpaces, I have been a Director of Customer Success &Technical Support at Stratoscale, Senior Storage Solution Architect at IBM, and Manager of Development Support at Diligent (which was acquired by IBM). I have the opportunity to work closely with many of the largest IT organizations such as AIG, Barclays, Bank of America, WB, HBOS, UBS, Morgan Stanley, AT&T, Bank of Canada, SEB, Air France, Toyota, NTT, KDDI, FedEx and more. I hold a BSc in Mathematics & Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA (Finance) from the Hebrew University. I have served in an elite combat unit in the IDF and currently live in Petah-Tiqva, Israel.

Let’s dive in, tell us how you go about driving engagement in your software?

We are not a SaaS solution, but usage is still playing a major role. Mainly since we land and expand through more use cases and applications within the data center and cloud deployment.

We are proactively reaching out to our users which are developers and administrators and ask to assist with automation and optimization, initiate meetings with experts on Java, k8s, and system, invite their free webinars and architecture brainstorm round table sessions and share our KB and opensource with the community.

How do you think an organization can encourage a knowledge sharing culture?

We should learn from each other. Look at CNCF : a mixture of self pace courses and certifications along with easy to consume Videos ‘how to‘, ‘my tips‘, ‘expert choice‘ etc.

What are the top 3 things that you would like to see being impacted by a software enablement methodology/platform?

1. Self sufficiency

2. From high touch to low touch

3. Shorten onboarding processes

What measurements and KPIs do you use today to define your Software Engagement goals?

1. Number of tickets

2. Time to production

3. Amount of services launch per quarter on the platform

Personal Question to close the talk. Since we know sharing the Knowhow is a team effort and we are big sports fans. What is your most memorable team sports moment?

My most memorable team sport moment is the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team. At the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, the team defeated its opponents by an average of 44 points en route to the gold medal against Croatia
